Wet and windy northern Europe but drier and sunnier to the south


Saturday
Plenty of sunshine across most of Spain and Portugal today. Staying fine through Balearics with lots of sunshine. Italy is going to be fair to with sunshine, and it will be remaining fine across Greece and Turkey too.
Fair in the south of France, but some cloud and periods of rain in northern France. Wet for the Low Countries with rain here. A wet and breezy day in Germany too. Poland stays wet with further spells of sunshine. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland bringing cloud and rain here.
Dry with some bright spells for Denmark. Rain and stronger winds affecting the Baltic States. Sunshine and showers in Finland. Dry for Sweden with sunny spells here. Wintry showers in northern Norway although dry and brighter to the south.


Sunday
A fine day to come through Spain and Portugal. Staying fair in the central Mediterranean too with Italy and the balearics all benefiting from sunshine and warm spring temperatures. Greece should be fine too with more sunshine here. Southern Turkey will be enjoying sun and warmth although there will be some showers in northern Turkey.
France is going to be dry with good spells of sunshine to come here. Breezy for the Low Countries with morning rain clearing away. That rain arrives i germany during the afternoon and it stays windy here. Mostly dry in Poland with good spells of sunshine although wind increasing later with rain in the far west. Austria should be dry with some sunny spells whilst Switzerland is cloudier with some rain.
Wind and rain in Denmark on Sunday. The baltic States and Finland should be dry with sunny spells right through. Sweden is likely to be dry to the north but wind and rain arriving in the south later. Wet in southern Norway with heavy rain and strong winds, showers to the north.
