A cool airmass brings wintry showers to northwestern parts of Europe
Monday is dry and bright across the Mediterranean with good spells of sunshine for Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece. Some cloud around to the east at times. Fronts bring outbreaks of rain and snow into central and eastern Turkey from the north later.
Showery outbreaks of rain for northern France and the Low Countries. Dry and bright across central and southern France. Heavy rain moves across northern Germany while southern areas see isolated showers. Early showers ease for Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic to leave a dry and fine day here. Dry and bright for Hungary and Slovakia.
Mostly dry and bright across Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden though an area of rain and snow arrives here from the southwest later. Bright over northern Norway and Sweden with isolated wintry showers. Mostly fine and bright for Finland and the Baltic States too with occasional isolated wintry showers.
Cloud builds over northern parts of Portugal, Spain and Italy with showery rain arriving later. Dry and bright over southern parts of Iberia and Italy. A dry and bright day too for Greece and for Turkey after early wintry showers ease over eastern areas.
A band of, sometimes heavy, rain spreads across southern parts of France, Germany and Poland then across Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic. Cool conditions follow behine this rain with frequent showers affecting northern parts of France, Germany and Poland as well as the Low Countries. Rain arrives over Hungary and Slovakia later.
Breezy with outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow for southern parts of Norway and Sweden and for much of Denmark. After a bright start, a band of rain, sleet and snow sweeps northward over the Baltic States. A mostly dry and fine day for Finland though snow may arrive to the south later. Dry and fine across central and northern parts of Sweden and Norway.
