Dry and bright in the southwest becoming increasingly cold and wet to the northwest. Thunderstorms expected for southern Italy, Greece and Turkey.


Monday
A dry and largely fine day for Portugal and Spain though cloud will build from the northwest through Monday evening. Dry and fine too for the Balearics but scattered showers may affect Corsica and Sardinia. An overcast and wet day for Italy with the heaviest rain in the south. Rain and snow too affecting the Balkans and moving into northwestern Greece by the late afternoon. Showery for western Turkey.
A dry and fine day for France and the Low Countries after a band of heavy rain clears to the east through the morning. Overcast for Germany with a few scattered showers affecting northern areas. Snow for Switzerland but largely dry and fine for Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland.
An overcast day for Denmark with rain moving into the west. Snow for eastern parts of the Baltic states and for southern Finland. Overcast for Sweden and Norway with snow showers moving northward over Sweden through the day.

Tuesday
Mainly overcast for Spain and Portugal as a band of heavy rain approaches from the northwest. It will reach central Spain by the evening. Fine and dry for the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and the Balkans. Heavy rain with potentially thundery downpours for Greece and western Turkey.
An overcast day for much of France with heavy rain moving into northwestern areas by late afternoon. A cloudy day too for the Low Countries and much of Germany though some sunny spells could develop for central areas through the afternoon. Largely dry and fine for Austria and Switzerland while it will be overcast for the Czech Republic and much of Poland. Central parts of Poland will have a chance of catching a wintry shower through Tuesday afternoon.
Cloudy with a few sunny spells for Denmark and the Baltic States. Overcast too for Finland, Sweden and Norway with a chance of a wintry showers over southern areas.
