Heavy rain in parts of central Europe, fair and sunny west

Wednesday
A largely dry and fine day for Spain and Portugal although with the odd thundery shower developing in the east of Spain later. Some possible earlier showers for Menorca and Majorca but these should clear off by the afternoon. Dry elsewhere through the Balearics. One or two showers for Sardinia and Corscia but largely dry too. Mostly dry across Italy but a few scattered showers developing in the north. Dry, hot and sunny for Greece and Turkey.
Some showers developing across western parts of France on Wednesday with torrential thunderstorms expected in the east. Torrential thunderstorm warning extends into far southern and eastern areas of Belgium as well as eastern borders of the Netherlands into north and west Germany. Drier elsewhere. Thundery showers, likely heavy, across thge Alps with some thunderstorms developing across the Czech Republic into west Poland.
Staying largely dry again, although some developing showers still pester southern parts of Norway and central areas of Sweden. Dry and largely fine for Finland. Scattered showers, some heavy and potentially thundery, through the Baltic States. Mainly dry for Denmark.

Thursday
Fine and very warm over Spain and Portugal, plenty of sunshine and staying dry. It should be dry and warm as well as sunny over the Balearics as well as much of Italy. Greece and Turkey should be fine and warm with plenty of sunshine here throughout the day.
Some showers in the north and east of France. Western and southern areas should be dry with some sunny spells. Breezy for the Low Countries with a brisk northerly wind here. Rather west in western parts of Germany, some heavy rain, and this extends into Switzerland and Austria where rain may become torrential. Poland and eastern parts of Germany should be fine with good spells of sunshine, and it should stay fair and sunny in Hungary too.
Sunny spells and showers for Denmark. The Baltic States will have a scattering of showers, More sunshine to come in Finland, dry here too. Fair in much of Sweden, but some cloud in the north. Norway should be fine and sunny to the south, but some cloud and outbreaks of rain as well as stronger winds to the north,
