Heavy rain and gusty winds for Portugal and Spain


Monday
Heavy rain and gusty winds continue for Portugal and spread across western and central Spain. Staying dry but cloudy to the east of Spain. A dry and fair day for the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. A few showers developing for northwestern parts of Italy. A dry day with lots of sunshine for Greece and Turkey.
Outbreaks of rain for the north of France, the Low Countries and northern Germany. A few showers for south-central parts of France but otherwise dry and cloudy. Dry and cloudy for southern Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. A few snow showers for Switzerland and Austria.
Further showery outbreaks of rain for Denmark though winds ease on Monday. Showers clear to the northeast from the Baltic States leaving a dry but overcast day here. Snow showers affect much of Finland while showers of rain, sleet and snow affect southern parts of Sweden and Norway.

Tuesday
Heavy bursts of showery rain spread across central and eastern parts of Spain and across the Balearic Islands. Drier and bright for Portugal and western Spain. Cloud increasing over Italy through the day with some rain to the northwest. Dry and sunny for Greece and Turkey.
Outbreaks of rain for France on Tuesday - these mainly focussed to the west and south where they may be heavy at times. Heavy bursts of rain reaching the Low Countries later. A dry and fine day for Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and much of Austria. A few snow showers for western Austria and southern parts of Switzerland.
Showery outbreaks of rain spread north across Denmark into southern parts of Norway and Sweden where they readily turn to snow. Showery rain clears to the east from the Baltic States to leave a dry and fine day here. Early snow showers clear east from Finland to leave a dry day here. Dry too for much of northern Sweden while showers affect northern Norway.
