Often unsettled across much of Europe, but particularly across more northern areas where it will be cold as well

Into Thursday and it is low pressure will dominate the weather across most areas, but especially across many northern areas of Europe, including across much of the British Isles, down into France, Germany and up into much of Scandianvia where some significant snowfall is possible too across parts of Norway and Sweden. Best of the weather through the day will be across more southern areas of Europe where pressure will be higher, with mainly dry weather through the Med, particularly across Spain with some sunshine, but with perhaps some showery weather across Greece and surrounding countries.

Friday
On into Friday and a north and south divide in the weather is likely to develop across Europe through the day as low pressure continues to dmoinate across much of northern Europe, with further rain, showers and wintry precipitation as well. Showers or longer spells of rain are expected across the British Isles, down into France, across towards Denmark, Germany, eastwards into Poland and surrounding countries, while sleet and snow is likely across parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland. Best of the weather across more southern areas, through the Med with some spells of sunshine and generally quite mild as well, especially across Italy.
