Fine in central and western Europe, some rain in the eastern Mediterranean


Wednesday
Cool and showery weather is set to continue across much of Iberia, including Spain and Portugal where some further cold nights are possible. More central and eastern areas of Europe will become drier after the unsettled weather of Wednesday, this particularly noticeable through central Europe where a mainly dry day is likely with some sunshine too.

Denmark and up into parts of Scandinavia will be more unsettled, as low pressure arrives bringing wet and windy conditions along with Sweden too, but some significant snowfall totals are possible across the Scandinavia mountains through the day.


Thursday
Fine across Spain on Thursday with lots of sunshine, and staying fair in Portugal too. A few showers and still chilly in the balearics. Italy will hev cloud and rain to the south, but drier in the north although with the risk of some fog. Cloud and rain affecting Greece and some heavy showers in western Turkey.
Early morning mist and fog patches affecting France, but these clearing to leave some sunny spells. More sunshine and dry weather to come across the oOw Countries. Northern Germany and northern Poland may have an isolated shower but they should be dry overall. Switzerland and Austria as well as Hungary will be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Cloud and some showers in Denmark. Cloud and drizzle affecting much of the baltic States too. Dry and bright but cold for Finland and staying dry and cold in the northern half of Sweden. Southern Sweden will be cloudy with some drizzle at times. Rather cloudy in much of Norway with some rain on western coasts and hills.
