Mild southwesterlies into Scandinavia

Friday
High pressure is centred over eastern Europe today bringing plenty of fair weather to the continent. Some showers for eastern Spain and the Balearics. Low pressure over southern Italy and Greece brings heavy rain and thunderstorms. Areas of rain also affect the Balkan countries and into southern Romania
Meanwhile, a mild southwesterly airflow pushes rain and a lot of cloud into Scandinavia, some heavy rain for southern Norway. Drier for Finland and the Baltic states.

Saturday
High pressure continues to bring a lot of fine weather for central, western and northern regions of Europe. A few showers remain possible for eastern Spain. Staying unsettled with thundery bursts for southern Italy, Greece and the Balkans.
Mild again for Scandinavia, with rain focused on western Norway, whilst the Baltic is mainly dry.
