Colder this week across much of Europe with a mix of rain, sleet and snow.

Monday
Spells of heavy rain affect northern coastal areas of Spain with blustery showers across western Portugal. Windy across much of Spain and Portugal and breezy across the Balearics. More cloud about across Italy today with some showery rain about, heavy in places in the south. Heavy rain down the Balkans. Heavy showers moving into western Greece while staying largely dry across Turkey.
Unsettled across much of Europe today. Blustery winds across France with showers as well as longer spells of rain here. High winds and gusts through the Low Countries into north and west Germany where there will be outbreaks of rain, possible sleet and snow. East Germany is drier. A mix of rain sleet and snow with gusty winds across Austria and Switzerland. Largely dry through Poland and Czechia.
Rain moving into across Denmark later. Largely dry through Sweden but snow showers pushing on to north and west Norway. A mix of rain, sleet and snow expected across central and northern Finland, drier further south. Windy throughout here. Largely dry across the Baltic area.

Tuesday
A breezy day across much of Spain. Showers, some wintry to higher ground, through northern into central regions where it will be feeling chilly, as well as north Portugal. Blustery showers will also affect the Balerics as well as the Italian islands where there will be more extensive cloud cover generally. Frequent and heavy showers across parts of Italy, snow to the higher ground. Showers pushing on to western Greece with a few on to the Turkish resorts, otherwise dry with sunny spells.
Feeling colder across much of northern into central Europe today. Western and southern regions of France will see frequent and at times heavy showers with snow to higher ground. Drier further north. Some showers pushing on to the Low Countries though most here shouodl stay dry. Scattered wintry showers along the German coasts where it will feel particularly cold, though elsewhere here will be dry. Snow showers expected across parts of Switzerland and Austria.
A mix of rain sleet and snow across Denmark with some areas seeing more snow than other. Snow to southern Norway, Sweden and Finland where it will be windy. Drier further north. A mix of rain, sleet and possible snow to the Baltic States.
