Windy for northern France and Low Countries


Tuesday
Southern Spain and Portugal stays dry and warm, although some rain affects northern Spain. A windy day for northern France and the Low Countries, with gales around the English Channel and North Sea coasts. Showers will come into western France from the Bay of Biscay. A belt of rain moves across France toward the Alps, and also extends into western Germany. Showers follow for Belgium and the Netherlands.
Hot and sunny for Italy, the Balkans and Greece. Plenty of sunshine across the Mediterranean. Low pressure over the Black Sea brings rain to northern Turkey, Romania and Ukraine. Patchy rain for the Baltic states. Dry weather extends across Poland into the eastern Alps.
Rain affects southern Norway and Denmark, whilst some heavy bursts also extend north across Sweden. Much of Finland and the far north stays dry and warm, also some rain may reach western Finland later.


Wednesday
One or two showers may break out for southeastern Spain, but much of Spain and Portugal will be dry. Areas around will Biscay will be wetter however, with a brisk westerly wind driving areas of rain into France. Some thundery bursts for northwest Italy and Switzerland, whilst Austria will be mainly dry.
Hot and sunny weather extends across the Mediterranean, Italy, Greece and the Balkan states. It stays unsettled around the Black Sea. Some areas of thundery rain for western Poland. Some rain for the Low Countries, northern Germany and Denmark, but much of central Germany is likely to be dry.
Heavy and persistent rain or showers for Norway and a few showers for Sweden, whilst Finland looks dry and warm, with a southerly breeze.
