Snow for the Alps, also Finland

Sunday
An unsettled day throughout Spain and Portugal with strong winds and heavy outbreaks of rain. Drier toward the southeast. Cloud, winds and some showers reaching across the Balearic islands too. Heavier rain affecting Corsica and parts of Sardinia into mainland northern Italy. Drier with sunny spells further south and across Sicily. Largely dry and fine through Greece and Turkey.
Unsettled with wet and windy weather across France. Rain clearing eastwards but with frequent and heavy showers pushing in behind. Heavier rain pushes across the Low Countries, in to Switzerland and far western regions of Germany by the afternoon. Some snow for the Alps. Drier yet turning cloudy through the Austria and the rest of Germany where winds will strengthen. Drier, breezy and mild across central-eastern Europe.
Rain, sleet and snow clearing much of southern Norway and Sweden moving northwards. Severe gales expected across Finland with snow in the west here, drier further east. Largely dry across the Baltics but windy and rain moving in by evening. Breezy but mostly dry across Denmark.

Monday
A few showers for southern Spain, but drier for much of Spain and Portugal. A cold front passing through the Mediterranean brings heavy rain clearing to sunshine and a few showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Low pressure over Italy brings areas of heavy rain, also moving into the Balkans with mountain snow. Rain reaches western Greece, it stays sunny with light winds for the Greek islands. Also dry and fine for Turkey, Cyprus and near the Black Sea.
Unsettled through central Europe with areas of rain for southern France and Alpine regions, snow for the mountains. Brisk winds and showery in northern France. Showers for Germany, plus some heavier and more frequent rain over Belgium and the Netherlands. Rain then brighter spells for Denmark.
Heavy rain moves into southern Sweden and Norway, drier further north. Some snow for Finland, patchy rain or snow for the Baltic states, staying windy here.
