Windy, unsettled northern Europe
A very warm day to come across central parts of Europe through the Balkans, Adriatic Region and Italy. A wet day across Britain. Expect plenty of heavy showers across France, Belgium and Holland. Heavy rain is forecast for Denmark and southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Rain may also affect the north of Germany with the south dry. Showers will affect Portugal but mainly dry across Spain and warm in the south. A dry, summery day to come across Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey and the Adriatic Region. Mainly dry as well up across Bulgaria, Romania and much of the Ukraine. Showers are likely across the Baltic States and northern Russia with some rain in the forecast across Finland. Fine and sunny across Italy today. Very windy in the channel and across the north of France and the south of England with gales in the channel. A brisk westerly wind will affect the Straits of Gibraltar.
A hot day to come across The Adriatic Region as temperatures rise into the low 30s. Very warm too across Italy, Greece and western parts of Turkey. An belt of heavy rain will lie across northern parts of Norway, Sweden and across Finland into the Baltic States, Poland, the Czech Republic, southern Germany and Austria with heavy showers across Switzerland. A number of heavy showers to affect Britain, France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark today. A fine, summery day across Portugal, Spain, the Balearics Sardinia, Italy, Greece and Turkey with sunny skies. Dry and sunny too across Bulgaria, Romania, The Ukraine and across Russia. Strong winds will persist through the channel and around the coasts of southern England and northern France into the North Sea.
