Chilly in the north
Rain is expected across England today. Much of France, The Low Countries, Denmark and Germany will have a mostly sunny and dry day. The best of the warm weather and sunshine is again going to be across Spain and Portugal across the Balearics. A few showers are forecast across Poland with sunny spells. An area of frequent, heavy showers will affect The Baltic States, Belarus, the Czech Republic and Austria. Heavy spells of rain will affect Italy, The Adriatic Region along with Greece, Corsica and Sardinia. Cloudier across Turkey with showers. Fine and dry across Bulgaria, Romania and The Ukraine with sunny spells. Much of Finland and Sweden will be dry and fine. Outbreaks of rain will affect Norway. A strong, gusty mistral will persist across the south of France and staying windy in the central Mediterranean. A strong east wind will be blowing through the Straits of Gibraltar.
A hot day across southern parts of Iberia as temperatures reach the thirties. Northern parts of Europe remain cool. Lots of dry, fair weather is expected across England and France today. Lots of very warm sunshine will be on offer across Portugal and Spain. A fine, sunny day is expected across the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy rain and heavy showers are forecast across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic across the Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans. Plenty of heavy showers are also expected across Turkey, Poland and The Baltic States. Rain clears the south of Italy leaving a few scattered showers across Italy. Rain and snow is expected across Norway but fine and dry with sunny spells are expected across Sweden and Finland. A few sharp showers develop across the Low Countries in the afternoon. Gale force easterly winds will prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar and staying very windy in the Mediterranean.
