Rain in the west and north but fair in many southern and eastern areas


Thursday
Rain in the far northwest of Spain on Thursday. For most of Spain and Portugal the day is going to be dry with good spells of sunshine. Staying fine and sunny in the Balearics as well as much of Italy. Greece is going to be dry and bright too with moe sunshine to come here. Damp in Greece with rain and cloud in the west, snow on hills.
Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the south of France. Brighter to the north and drier with broken cloud here. Damp and cloudy as well as breezy in the Low Countries and northern Germany with wind and more persistent rain in Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be cloudy and damp with drizzle and light rain here.
Breezy and cloudy as well as damp in Denmark. Rain and cloud for the Baltic States. Broken cloud for Finland with a risk of drizzle here. Cloud and drizzle in southern Sweden but dry for most. Norway will be unsettled with cloud and rain in the west.


Friday
Heavy rain for Portugal and western parts of Spain on Friday. The east of Spain wil be drier with sunny spells here. Italy is going to be dry with some more sunshine to come, although showers affecting more northern areas. Greece should be dry with plenty of sunshine, whilst Turkey is dry and sunny to the west, but with some showers in the east.
Rain affects the west of France late on Friday with broken cloud and drier weather in the east. The Low Countries and northern Germany will be cloudy with drizzle or outbreaks of rain. Staying cloudy with further rain or drizzle in northern Poland. Southern Poland and Hungary should be dry with sunny spells, whilst Austria and Switzerland are dry and bright.
Denmark is going to be cloudy with some drizzle or patchy rai at times. Breezy in the Baltic States with rain and cloud too. Showers in Finland, some of them heavy. Sweden will have showers in the far north and far south, whilst heavy showers affect much of Norway.
