Snow developing for Norway and Sweden
High pressure resides across central and southern Europe, bringing plenty of dry weather and springlike warmth. A cloudy day for Portugal but mostly dry and bright for Spain and the Balearics. Dry and bright too for Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and Greece. Southern portions of Turkey and Cyprus could see some light scattered showers develop throughout the day.
A cloudy day too for northern parts of France, the Low Countries and Germany with drizzly rain grazing North Sea coasts. Brighter and dry for southern France, Switzerland, Austria, southern Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
An overcast morning for Denmark before a band of heavy rain moves in through the afternoon. A windy day for Finland with a band of snow moving from west to east across the country. Sweden will stay mostly dry and bright before a band of rain arrives by evening in the southwest. Snow and rain will affect southern portions of Norway by afternoon and evening.
Little change for the south and south west of Europe, as high pressure stays in charge. Dry and warm, locally 20C in southwest France, also warm across much of Iberia, with lots of sunshine, although Portugal could hold onto more cloud.
Extensively dry and sunny across the Mediterranean. Scattered showers around Cyprus. Greece and the Balkans also dry with sun and broken cloud. Dry with variable cloud across Hungary around Romania, temperatures 10 to 13C. Cloud and rain affects Poland and the Czech Republic.
Fairly cloudy with patchy rain for northern Germany. Alpine regions will be largely dry with some sunshine. A front brings rain to southern Sweden, but widespread snow to central Sweden and Norway, this will fade slowly through the day. Dry but very cold across northern Scandinavia with high pressure building here.
