Heavy, thundery showers for central and northern Europe, drier south

Sunday
More of Spain at risk of showers today though staying largely dry through Portugal and the Balearics. Largely dry with sunshine throughout Italy, however, scattered showers in the far north. Showers easing back across Greece but staying rather unsettled through Turkey.
A band of heavy rain and showers moves from west to east across France today clearing from the west with drier weather developing. Dry across the Low Countries for much of the day though some showers and rain reaching Belgium by evening. Dry and fine throughout much of Germany, Czechia and Hungary with any showers in Poland clearing off. Dry and fine too down the Balkans.
One or two showers developing across Denmark again, otherwise dry and fine. The risk of a heavy shower across the Baltics though most should remain dry. Heavy and thundery showers locally across parts of the southern Norway and Sweden pushing into the far southwest of Finland later. Elsewhere here should stay dry and fine.

Monday
Thunderstorms in northern and western Spain today, with further thunderstorms for Portugal. Fair in eastern Spain as well as the Balearics. Italy will be fair with dry weather and sunshine. Staying fine too in Greece and most of Turkey, although some thundery showers in the north.
Further thundery showers for France, heaviest north and west. The thunderstorms affecting the Low Countries and Germany too. Showers in eastern Poland but fine in the west. Hungary will be fine too with more sunshine. Some showers for Austria and Switzerland, again some heavy.
Denmark will be warm and sunny. Showers for the Baltic States. Sunny and dry in Finland. Sweden will have sunshine too, although an odd shower here and there. Scattered showers in southern Norway, fair in the north.
